Ghost Race is a push-up game, not a coach or medical device. Exercise within your ability, use safe form and treat the count as a gameplay estimate—not a health measurement.

01 / Acceptance and Apple terms

By downloading, purchasing or using Ghost Race (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms supplement the Apple EULA with product-specific rules about Ghost Race, exercise, local data and subscriptions. The Apple EULA controls where Apple requires it or where these Terms cannot legally replace it.

02 / Licence

You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Apple EULA. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, rent, modify or reverse-engineer the App except where applicable law expressly permits it.

03 / Exercise safety

Ghost Race is designed as a recreational fitness game. It is not a medical device, personal trainer, form checker or source of medical advice. It does not determine whether push-ups are safe or appropriate for you.

Before exercising, consider your health, experience and surroundings. Use a stable surface, clear enough space, and technique appropriate to your ability. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, unusual shortness of breath or any other concerning symptom. Seek advice from a qualified health professional if you have an injury, medical condition or concern about exercise.

You are responsible for how you exercise and for any decision to follow, repeat or accelerate a set. Do not compromise safe form merely to beat a ghost.

04 / Counting and race results

The App estimates push-ups using either motion measured at your wrist on Apple Watch or live upper-body joint positions derived from iPhone camera frames. Movement patterns, framing, lighting and clothing vary, and either mode may miss a repetition or count another movement as one. Camera mode does not record video. Neither mode verifies full range of motion, certifies technique or determines that a repetition is safe.

Race counts, times, records, results and Ahead/Tied/Behind states are gameplay information only. They are not medical, athletic or competition-grade measurements. A finished count cannot be edited into a scored result because its repetition timeline cannot be reconstructed reliably. If you flag a count issue, the raw attempt is excluded from scoring, records and ghosts and the App offers a clean retry. Open and Timer are unscored practices: their displayed repetition total may be adjusted by one without changing the stored raw timestamps or session duration.

The App may pause, stop or record an attempt as incomplete if iOS/watchOS interrupts the session, required body joints leave the camera frame, sensor/camera access becomes unavailable, or the user abandons the race.

05 / Free preview and Ghost Race Pro

The App may offer a free on-device preview that currently includes creating one 5-rep ghost and completing five clean 5-rep races using either iPhone Camera or Apple Watch, with Last Ghost and Best Ghost available during the preview. The five-race allowance is shared across inputs. An incomplete or count-issue race does not consume that allowance. The exact preview and free features can change in a future version, subject to applicable law.

Ghost Race Pro is offered through auto-renewable monthly and annual subscriptions and as a lifetime non-consumable purchase. All Pro products currently unlock the same Open practice, configurable timed practice and unlimited races with configurable repetition targets for camera and Watch. Current prices, billing period and any localized terms are displayed by the App Store before you confirm a purchase.

06 / Renewal, cancellation and refunds

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a subscription. Unless you cancel, the subscription renews automatically for the selected period. Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.

The lifetime option, when available, is a one-time non-consumable purchase and does not renew. It unlocks Pro for the Apple Account under Apple's restoration and availability rules.

You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no further renewal is charged.

Purchases, billing, cancellation and refunds are processed by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms. The developer cannot directly charge your payment card or issue an App Store refund. You may request a refund from Apple where eligible. Your mandatory statutory consumer rights are not affected.

07 / Your local data

Race data is stored locally on the iPhone and, when Watch mode is used, the paired Apple Watch as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping the devices and Apple Account secure. The developer has no server copy and cannot recover race history if it is deleted, lost or damaged.

08 / Acceptable use

Use the App only for lawful, personal purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the App, bypass access controls or subscription verification, introduce malicious code, misuse Apple services, or use the App in a way that infringes another person's rights.

09 / Intellectual property

The App, visual design, software, name, icon and related materials are owned by or licensed to the provider and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

Your locally generated race history belongs to you. No ownership right in that data is claimed by the provider.

10 / Availability and changes

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Device compatibility, iOS/watchOS behaviour, camera conditions and Apple services can affect availability. Features may be improved, changed or discontinued, and the App may require an operating-system update. Where a change materially affects a paid subscription, applicable consumer law continues to apply.

11 / Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the provider does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfectly accurate counting, a particular fitness result, or compatibility with every movement pattern or device configuration.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the App, loss of local data, interruption of Apple services or reliance on a race count. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights and liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

12 / Apple as third-party beneficiary

These Terms are between you and Esther Pascual Sarasua, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, maintenance or support except as required by law or the Apple EULA. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13 / Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection law or right to bring a claim in the courts available in your country of residence.

14 / Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated as Ghost Race evolves. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page. If a change is material, notice may also be provided in the App. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law.
